Yes it was,i was running an errand at work ,i had to pick up some new golf carts, when i got to the garage i spotted an old metal lathe in the corner not being used,i asked the mechanic if he would sell it turns out it wasnt his but he would find out about it,I mentioned i do blacksmithing as a hobby and am all ways looking for tools,or scraps.then i said ya got any anvils you want to throw away? jokingly since i have allyways thought there is not another within 200miles from fort lauderdale, besides my peter wright that i paid dearly for, price and shipping.so the guy says no but i got one for 20 bucks.sight unseen i started reaching for my wallet, then he says ahh forget that just take it in the shop we go in a dark corner under a pile of stuff, I never use the word crap! and lo and behold a mint condition VULCAN anvil weighs between 65 and 70 pounds. I guess the moral of the story is just keep asking sooner or later you get a yes!
