So i finally got an anvil has a nice ring good bounce, now what i was hoping is you guys could tell me what this. These are the only marking on it i could find I'll check some more but this is what I got.

It is a German Trenton

would be more correct to call it a H BOAKER. He brought german anvils over under his own name as well as trenton.
Sharp eye as soon as you said german the name pops right out.

So I'm hoping this was a good buy? sounds nice little worked around the edges but i can live with that I now have an anvil and its make this much easier.

It's a good brand anvil; can't tell if it's a good buy without knowing how much you paid for it and how the face is holding up---even a good anvil can have been through a fire or been ground thin on the face.
