David Einhorn Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 I have made numerous purchases from the Fastenal store one block from where I work including unplated threaded rod, and square headed unplated bolts. Fastenal calls unplated fasteners "plain finish". You can look up and even order their stuff from their web site: Link for Fastenal web site They even sell unplated square and hex nuts.
