Tran
Someone in the past said that they could not, either make or did not have room to make a Hardie hole. I have the same problem, this is one solution. These photos are of some things that I use with a pritchel hole. The
Nakedanvil - Grant Sarver
Very good Tran. Accomplishes the objectives of a square hardy hole. And a round hole is certainly easier to make on a shop made anvil. Thanks for sharing, guy. Oh yeah, please fill out your "user profile" so we know a little more about you and where you are at. Frosty
Nicely done Tran! That's one of those head slapping ideas that makes me wonder why I didn't think of it it's so obvious. Yes please, edit your profile so we know where in the world you are. I promise to at least TRY to talk Grant out of dropping by for a snack. Rob Browne
Great minds think alike Tran. I only have a small anvil so all of my hardie tools, except for the butcher, are made so they sit on the body of the anvil with the hardie spike at one end and a bracket across the anvil at the other end. Don't want to go breaking off the tail of my anvil :)
pkrankow
Wow, what an idea! My anvil was pre-broken across the hardie and pritchel. I'll consider drilling a hole. Phil
