thefairweatherforge
Hello, (again) I have been an apprentice to a blacksmith of 37 years for about 2 years. Starting to get the hang of it , but man he makes it look easy. With every new lesson I go home and practice until I can duplicate. Also we preform at a show for 3 weekends a year. Man is it easy to get the bug and fill a shop with tools (over time and depending on $). Main reason I got into (it) was, I couldn't find anything hand made for our rustic house. So why not make it? Sorry, rambling on, just wanted to say Hello.
ThomasPowers
I used to be in the MOB; Mid Ohio Blacksmiths, if you are around central ohio you may want to look them up. I hope you will be at Quad-State this year. Barring medical problems I plan to drive from New Mexico to go to it! Just look for the guy with the disreputable red hat.
