Avadon Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 Seems like that would make a decent anvil for some work but when your hammering it doesn't have a lot of mass under neath any one section. Only 4". The rest of the mass might help absorb blows. If it was square then you could use it on it's side and then you would get the full 20" of mass under each blow.
