I started by taking some classes at the Crucible in Oakland, CA, one of which was a forge building class. I have been at it for about 2 years, and I just completed my first paid job: 10 trellis brackets I designed and forged for a contractor friend of mine. If you've been doing this for two years already, you hardly count as a newby so we'll expect some ideas, tips and such from you too. And pictures, we LOVE pictures, the more the better.
