after reading through this thread most people are wearing leather glovs at least on their tong hand. I've been doing the same thing at the end of the day i can't even was my hands because they hurt...
At the Madison conference I was talking with Mr Kain of Kain and son about the problem he pointed out that leather makes your hand sweat then when you get near the heat it makes steam ..the light blub went off I was cooking my hands inside my leather gloves.
I have switched to cotton mill gloves and also a pair of kevlar
