  1. so sorry to hear and so irritating that things needed for medical issues cost so much. Anything diabetic related should be cheap and accessible have a few family members have similar issues with getting supplies be safe and hang in there. everyones work looks amazing I havent been able to light my forge in a month days off been either too tired bad weather or no propane. hell month is over so hoping to get right back at it monday if mother nature allows it. no clue what I will be making but I am pounding hot steel with my hammer this coming week. need to clear my mind and get to use some of this money I have earned on some materials. JHCC if you see this I have not forgotten about thise few things I will figure out when I can get out to you as well. thanks for all the motivation everyone keep up the great work.
  2. thanks I apreciate that. Monday and Tuesday if I get some decent non windy non wet time the forge will be fired and I will be hammering away. I think after I practice some hammering I will just attempt a forge weld or 2 on whatever I have just want to learn.
  3. Everything will be practice for me still very new but have plenty of great ideas. going to practice forge welding hopefully soon.

  12. Just worked my whole career in food industry most places even with contract you ask nicely they will give you dirty grease especially if they fry alot. I have 40 pounds sitting in my shed.
  13. Go find a local bar with food should be able to get some used oil. Usually less strict or no contract at all. If you were closer I give you some I can get fryer oil easily.

  21. I know JHCC told me the wieght but cant remeber couldnt go full swing with area working in and I need more practice never swung a sledge for proper use really but after learning and doing I want to go full power with one and really get into a groove.
