  3. Well this stinks. Got my forge finally started mixed my silica coated my forge go to light it for first time get it lit goes out so turn high pressure regulator valve to off position and the valve strips out and wont turn off. Run to the 3 local stores to hopefully find a new highpressure hose and no luck. Anyone reccomend a brand i can order online before i search amazon. Hope this does not ruin my silica phase not being able to fire now. Without bad luck i have no luck lol.

  6. Everyones work looks great I cant wait to get started. Bugs have kicked my behind again and made me decide I need to get something to take care of it. Was able to get my log stripped of bark and started to burn the outside of it before I couldnt handle smacking myself any longer. Had to spend some time with kiddo so didnt get to the forge but everything comes with time but my kid always gets that time first. Keep up the great work fellas I will post a picture here soon of my first solo work.

  11. Good old 3 on the tree once mastered easy before that utter confusion. Learned stick in my driveway which was a hill for 2 months before had license dad found a car was cheap and said better learn got 2 months before you can hit the road. Next 8 weeks all I did was drive up and down the drive way and sit in it shifting gears. Storm Gods are on my side this week spaired my carport and brought down a tree 2 doors down that magically the tree service cut a piece exactly 25.5 inches which is what I need to have my anvil at the right hieght. Getting closer now just need time to set it all up.
  12. Well I didn't do anything but I am impressed with my carport slash shop. Got a nasty storm at home while I was at work 18mph winds with gusts of 80 about 2 dozen trees down on just the rodes I took to get to my house so I thought well there goes my carport. To my surprise when I pulled in driveway carport didn't move an inch and not a single tear in the material. Wooohoo That twist is amazing I really want to try that.
  13. Could bend a thin piece of metal around the bottom with enought material and tension to slip picture in between the 2 tips like a clamp.
  14. Everyone looks like they been very busy and work looks amazing. Wish I had time to get my stuff together have worked 128 hours in 2 week span WOW. 17. Thomas I have thought the same thing. I found at a flea market for 5 bucks couldn't pass it up. Cleaned it up when first bought has no markings.
  18. Dennis that is a beautiful axe head and yes dont need a flat side but if not use to swinging the axe and getting proper angle the flat side is very helpful. I am very jealous of that axe head.
