wow thanx for all the compliments about my knife.well my tutor told me i should drill tiny holes all the way inside the antler so i can just heat up the knife and burn its way in.will that work or not?i just want the knife to be inside the hanlde without rivets or slites in the antler,it must go in through the middle of the antler where that funny sponge like stuff is.

winter is coming up for me,im turning 19 in october.well even if i get a job where will i buy the stuff i need?there arent anyplaces near by

I just thought i should post a pic of my first knife i ever made and its soon to be handle, plz comment if you have any ideas of how to get it in the antler without cutting it or ruining the antler.the first pic is just the antler and the knife, the second pic is how i want the antle and the knife to be posisioned once inside the antler.thanx DM

im all finished making my forge and it called forge of hollow shadows,i know its corny but i thought to myself that i put so much hard work into it so i should name it.ill post picks once i bring it home bcoz its at my blcksmith course right now

will it work if i crush up a fire brick and add some lime and concrete and add water and molt to shape of crucible.could that work as one?

no no no you dont understand i wanna melt things like coke tins,gun shells,brass fittings etc.stuff like that 4 MY OWN USE not to sell or give away.i just thought that it could also be fun to do.i know its dangerous but so is walking across a road

thanx but mine has to be practical to make and it must have a small gas cylander,i dont know what fitting i need for it to prevent flash backs and those things where the flame sucks up the gas pipes and into the bottle.im hoping i can built it from a camping gas bottle(that very small bottle that powers some camping lights and also is used for heating cofee water.id post a pic but i dont know how.

so then what do you guys suggest i do to make my small press?it cant be air powered.

can anybody with a small gas forge that is run by a small camping propane tank please send me pics because i wanna get ideas for my one thanx DM
