Im going to pass 400. hay budden and the sale is today for full price. 25% off tomorrow and 50% off Saturday I will go Saturday and see if it is still there. Daswulf is right hay budden! What is was your reason for learning wanting this as a hobby/trade/art/job? For me it is a cure-distraction from a life of Ptsd! I might not be good at it and I just wanted to “hulk smash” stuff at first but it is evolving into so much more learning and love of being creative! Some veterans get a service dog. I get a service anvil.

I am new to the site and didn’t think it uploaded my pictures so I tried it 2 more times. SORRY dude! I am building a ron reil burner exactly to spec this time not just scraps that I had laying around in my garage. I will ridgidize my blanket I looked at the post on that. Do I just use refractory cement for that? I thought it was ok for less than $19 but now I realize that shortcuts aren’t working. Few more bucks to spend on this thing but i will keep building till I get it right.

No regulator thought it would be easier to just take scrap pipes and fittings from work and go to town but I am realizing that it is not that simple. Coal was easier and I wanted a fast cheep propane forge I am a pipe fitter so virtually everything was free!!! Paid for one fitting and that was the 1 1/2”x 3/4 “ bell reducer

No. And ok it kept blowing it out it was a hose from a rose bud burner and didn’t have one on it but I have one I was just trying to get going rushing it and using anything I could scrounge up I’ll throw one on hopefully that will do lol
