Right on Thomas. Very well said

Thank you Virusds. I won't say what I really think about all this because it might get edited anyway. But your post is pretty spot on
-
I don't buy a lot of that stuff anyway, but is there really that much of a shortage? I think not probably but people are preying on fear
-
I agree. Good video Jennifer. Thank you for making it

Thank you my friend. It's such a weird feeling day. The world is shutting down and it's raining cats and dogs and the forecast calls for solid rain for several days. My friend sent me ads from the internet where they are selling bottles of hand sanitizer for over $30 a bottle and cases of water for $25. Its the craziest thing I've ever seen

I'll have to see what I can do. They are calling a meeting for the staff and residents to explain to them, but my moms comprehension isn't real good.
-
Sorry to hear about the possibility of no work for you Steve. I hope it doesn't come to that. I just got a call this morning that they are cutting off all visitors from the nursing home for probably 2 to 3 weeks. I'm worried my mom will wonder why nobody is coming to see her and not understand why

I watched this video earlier also. It turned out good. I have a HF ball pein that I use occasionally. I didn't do nearly as much to it as Alec Steele did to the one in the video. But it's not a bad hammer and was cheap

Hello Jack. I'm in north central Texas, close to Oklahoma. My husband used to work for a fracking containment outfit and he was sent to San Angelo a few times. I don't know of any clubs near you though. Welcome to the gang. What di you like to forge? Frosty will ask you, but I'll beat him to it. Got any pictures? We love them you know

I think 1.0 looks pretty darn good, John. Please post #2 when it is done. If I can get a critter sitter, I'd like to come out your way this summer. I haven't been any further away than Dallas in nearly 2 years. I'm a homebody, but I do like to go on a trip occasionally and that would be a perfect destination

I'll be checking shortly

Sorry Chris! Buffalo bone would be nice to have a supply of. I like the look of rams horn also

Leaf spring is what I've been using for knife steel practice. But what I have done doesn't look nearly as good as your sword does.

Well, the yeast supply was replenished and there was plenty of toilet paper at the store today. And a big crowd shopping. The nursing home my mom is in did implement using a code to get in because of the virus. Those are about the only things I found kind of different.
-
Wow, really nice. What steel did you use?
-
LOL! Yeah, there would be no shortage for sure. Hmm I wonder if you could use goat droppings? I'd never run out of handle material
-
My heart aches for you friend. The prayers will continue on

She is amazing to watch and an awesome teacher

I've heard of knife handles made from stabilized horse manure, so I reckon, the sky really is the limit

alexandr, the quality and amount of work you do makes me feel lazy! Gorgeous as per usual.
John, that's a lovely flower. I hope I can get out to an IronMunchers meeting sometime soon. I'd love to meet you in person and forge with you guys.
Jennifer, I couldn't view the video either, but I will as soon as I can.

That may be interesting to look at. Thanks Thomas

I went to buy some yeast to make doughnuts with and nearly every bit of it was gone. The worker said people were buying it up. He managed to find me one though. And the store that is normally very crowded felt almost deserted there were so few people

Nice work blacksmith-450 and Frazer. The scissors are cool. It doesn't look like it'd take much to even out the handles.
I've given away a bunch of stuff and I've got piles of stuff still sitting. It is a good idea to get your work out there to be seen. I wanted to make spoons and forks and I just made some and my husband put them in his lunch bag. The guys at work started wanting them after seeing his and now others want them. I guess I'm a one trick pony right now but I ought to get real good at them. I appreciate all the business advice. It is not easy to figure out for sure.

She flew. I forgot to mention that

We ran into wal mart for 3 things. Ended up going ahead and buying other things after seeing the empty shelves. A lady offered us some of her toilet paper, and I thought that was great. We didn't need any, but seeing every cart leaving the store with it, we thought we'd better. Can goods and Ramen noodles are slim pickins.
