  1. We ran into wal mart for 3 things. Ended up going ahead and buying other things after seeing the empty shelves. A lady offered us some of her toilet paper, and I thought that was great. We didn't need any, but seeing every cart leaving the store with it, we thought we'd better. Can goods and Ramen noodles are slim pickins.

  2. Thank you my friend. It's such a weird feeling day. The world is shutting down and it's raining cats and dogs and the forecast calls for solid rain for several days. My friend sent me ads from the internet where they are selling bottles of hand sanitizer for over $30 a bottle and cases of water for $25. Its the craziest thing I've ever seen

  3. Sorry to hear about the possibility of no work for you Steve. I hope it doesn't come to that. I just got a call this morning that they are cutting off all visitors from the nursing home for probably 2 to 3 weeks. I'm worried my mom will wonder why nobody is coming to see her and not understand why

  4. Hello Jack. I'm in north central Texas, close to Oklahoma. My husband used to work for a fracking containment outfit and he was sent to San Angelo a few times. I don't know of any clubs near you though. Welcome to the gang. What di you like to forge? Frosty will ask you, but I'll beat him to it. Got any pictures? We love them you know :D

  5. Well, the yeast supply was replenished and there was plenty of toilet paper at the store today. And a big crowd shopping. The nursing home my mom is in did implement using a code to get in because of the virus. Those are about the only things I found kind of different.

  6. I went to buy some yeast to make doughnuts with and nearly every bit of it was gone. The worker said people were buying it up. He managed to find me one though. And the store that is normally very crowded felt almost deserted there were so few people

  7. Nice work blacksmith-450 and Frazer. The scissors are cool. It doesn't look like it'd take much to even out the handles.

I've given away a bunch of stuff and I've got piles of stuff still sitting. It is a good idea to get your work out there to be seen. I wanted to make spoons and forks and I just made some and my husband put them in his lunch bag. The guys at work started wanting them after seeing his and now others want them. I guess I'm a one trick pony right now but I ought to get real good at them. I appreciate all the business advice. It is not easy to figure out for sure.
