  1. Yeah those vises tend to be exspensive, ive been going to gatherings but idk if 180 for one that has been rebuilt is good or not  (the president fpr my sextion of ncabana result one and is selling it ) and hopefully when u get alot more free time I'm gonna go to flee markets more, often to look for scrap metal, tools ect

  2. I did haggle as much as possible with him originally it was gonna be 200 for the lot and i got him down that much which is decent and my thinking was that for my location deals are few and far between so to pay a little over 10 US Dollars each is pretty good

  3. So, my friend found a man the other day that was selling a propane forge/ anvil combo and i decided to email him asking what tools he had for sell and I was wondering what would be good prices for used tools. I know for a fact he has a post vise and a mandrel for sell, so what would be good prices?

  4. True true i understand what u mean i think i may go that rpute after all since lime u say thats a fraction of a cost c9mpared to the cost of a forge, ill report back when the burner is fixed

Also sorry to everybody for not properly using quoetes like i need to

    useless quoting removed again

The problem is even with a better fuel to air ratio the outward angle is to severe so the rire is hitting the last inch and a half 9n each side with basically 16 inches of dead space in between so even by changing the ratio it wouldnt work without recasting

  6. Yes that makes complete sense, and yes ur understand is correct they are angled outwards to the openings on each end but what do you mean when by , hitting one side of the hole in the refractory before entering the forge chamber?
