  2. Here is a chef knife I copied.
  3. I have a friend that can get all the cutting edges I want from motor grader and bulldozers. Does anyone know if they will make blade steel.
  4. No I didnt. The files had beven in my grandfathers old shop. They are older than I am, (42). So I used them

  6. Here is my first farriers rasp knife. It's stock removal. It is also the first knife I heat treated. It has a solid mesquite handles, that I milled out myself. Need some minor touch ups.
  7. The guys catch hogs with dogs. This is the reason for the knife. They don't want to shoot guns around their dogs, risking hitting one. The guys try to Dispatch the pigs quickly so they try to find an efficient knife. Devine. Shoot I'm just.minutes away. I'll be there
  8. Worked good. Just had to fine tune the doors for back pressure. But I was able to heat treat 5 knives
  9. I needed to get some knives heat treated before I go back to work this weekend. I improvised. I have a large pear burner. A good friend runs a brick yard. He gave me 20 of their bricks that will go to 2500 degrees. I layedon't the brick into an oven type and there you go, a propane forge.
