    recent aquisition

    I bid on an anvil on ebay, won the item and when I met the seller to pick up the anvil lo and behold he showed up with 4 of them. We went back and forth over price. In the end he made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

    Millwaukee porta band saw converted to a table top saw. It may be changed back to a hand held by removing one bolt and attaching the handle.

    A work in progress: A gate for the enterance to our deck. Double swinging door 8 ft wide. Dragon head post finials. I will post another pic when it's compleate. Finish will be rust.

    My first large blade. needs all the finsih work on the blade and a leather wrap handle. Just wanted to see how it looked with the parts fit together.

    Fire Drake

    I was just fooling around by the forge one day and came up with what I thought was a dragon.....I was corrected by another smith and was informed that what I had forged was actually a "Fire Drake". I don't care what one calles it ....I still think it's cool.
  13. Had a customer ask me to make a one of a kind plant stand to hold 5 potted plants. I had some 8 in. ceramic floor tiles lying about so I put them to use.

    Dog Gate

    My brother asked me to make a gate to keep his dog from entering his house while he has the door open. We threw this together this Sunday.
  15. After one week in the damp box a paste of baking soda and water was brushed on to neutralize the bleach. It was then rinsed and hung to dry. Multiple coats of polyurethane were applied and now it is ready to go to the customer.

    I had to make a new sign hanger for over our mailbox thanks to the Town of Royalston snow plow driver.

    Sample gate

    This gate was made as a sample for the craft show season. It now has a place in our yard where my wife likes it. The roses bloom all year ...even in the snow.
