You  may need to look into "early onset dementia" It is a terrible condition. My mother has it and we all overlooked the problem until we had to face the condition. We will be praying for you a new job and your extended family 

Dirt floors are great. So is a hoist but if you have electric available don't bother with the finger busting chain hoists

Looks functional to me. Might want to put some sheet metal around some of it for inclement weather. Forging in the rain is peaceful. I know you will lose track of time I always do! 

peter wright anvils are very good. I just love mine.

A lot of us started in the fifties and sixties. We did not have internet and old-timers were hard to find. We worked problems out by trial and error.  didn't work the first or second time rethink your method. It is only cheap metal!

Any way you go solar, generated. Commercial power is always cheaper when you have the required amps delivered. Maybe start up expensive, but cheaper in the long run.

I agree no extra embellishment needed.

Look at professional touch marks on knives and other work . To me smaller looks better.

Use it in good health until something better comes along. Remember we all find that after your first anvil comes along they start raining from heaven!

Besides all the above mankind has been eating from charcoal fires since fire making evolved.

Just keep your blower on while using the anvil. Move them closer together. Make a dump valve for your blower 

Yes just follow the guide line dimensions For the threads and remember a cold chisel will remove them when driven backwards against normal rotation.  Very use full For blind riveted looking attachments.

Unfortunately rebar is only good for one use (buried in cement) Sirsparky we have all tried to use the stuff but it is not worth the effort put into it. unfortunately.

A work of art they are beautiful. Just need a new home.

I have used them a lot. They work great. To remove just take a chisel to the side and drive them reverse direction. Very useful rivet for blind applications. 

Take it to a rewind shop. The only way to remove the stator is to pack the inside with dry ice and heat the outside shell evenly then use a press to punch it out. Rewind shops are prepared with the proper tooling
