my power hammer sits on wood 25x25 mm thick and the floor has no crack ... and my normal anvil has cracked the floor from the sledge hammer :)

There is no way u can make a good weld with any cast iron.I have preheated mines ....it cracked close to the weld ....i took it to a professional (The state welding center) it cracked near the weld weldet with tig...mig ..does not stand the stress when the peace is in use ... You preaheat both of the pieces you make the weld...after that try to make a collar over the weld that will prevent the 2 peaces moving seperately.You can also try using one of those wonder glue made from 2 compound that will stick everything together ...you know something like locktide after you weld it .If you have stress between the peaces it will brake if it just sits quietly it will last.The weld is just 2 keep the peaces in place not to resist 2 much stress(This is just my opinion)

Nope...it's a russian copy of a beche...i think it's nothing written on it and the guy who soled it to me found it on a bar at his newly bought property and had no ideea about it.Very similar 2 a Beche thow but it has a manual oil pump.

well...i have mine in the corner caz of the very small shop about half a meter away from both walls i can work arround 2 meters long stock ...never nedet more in my work ...this is when i texture the entire 2 meters...but there is no problem what so ever when i just make the ends of the scrolls or the spikes from a long stock... i gues...it depens on what do u want 2 forge with it ...plus mine is on wodden bean so i can still move it arround ...not that i ever moved it from it's place...but just in case..ohh and the window never opend it 2 make way for the bars + it opens on the inside and it hit's the hammer so only if i brake the glass :)

Off.... I can install multi tone assembels.The gate is no problem to make or install but the golden top ...hmm i am considering forging it.Considering i started from 0 with no forging experience 2 years ago when i finished computer sience Learned everything on the way i think maybe i can learn this to...wonder how long it will take 2 forge this and where am i going to get the gold from :)

2day i received by email a price request for making the gate that i'll attach the picture ...it will be 7 meters tall and 8 wide.Fabricating the gate is no problem but the top golden part is ...1st because i don't even know what that is made of i think carved wood...not wanting to sound silly but forging that desighn ...oh my does anybody do that ?is that casted ? how can i do that and how much to charge...or maybe not do it ...and let somebody else do that nice gate :)

Sven 10x for the links most apreciated...i am at number 6 now... 6 diffeent burners from 6 diferent websites with diferent blueprints all burning inside the pipe...One thing they had in comon... the burner pipe was thicker than 1" and longer than 25 cm. Now i am making on the lathe a burner that i really don't belive thqat will heat up my big forge but i am giving to try.The burner pipe is 3/4 and 10 cm short ...somehow i just don't belive that i will have enof heat in the forge in order 2 forge weld ... I can't seem 2 find a Venturi in the shops to buy so i am making my own bell on the lathe ....and all the feetings to put the gas nozzel in the middel of the burner pipe...Plz plz work i am tired of playing with gas ...i will keep you posted with ...hopefully the improvements of my burners

Ok ...BARE with me... for aout 2 years i have worked with a gas forge with a single burner and it did the job...of heating up the iron but not forge welding heat...
