  1. Here is what i put together yesterday.
  2. What should i do to temper and heat treat longer blades then? set up an outdoor forge or secondary forge entirely?
  3. Ive just begun to dabble in longer blade forging and want a longer, thinner fire to accommodate for my charcoal, and the blades. What ive been thinking of doing is switching to a forge similar to this one: '> Does anyone have experience with how well a pipe/line air supply works verses the normal single air source point?
  4. How does the V style forge work for you? Does the air pipe get clogged at all? What size holes are in the black steel pipe? Im thinking of switching from my basic bowl style to something like this to make my blade forging easier.
  5. Will do, thanks for the advice!
  6. I usually soak a pile of charcoal with a bottom layer of newspaper/paper with some tiki torch fuel. Because it always seems less explosive than gasoline or lighter fluid and feels safer to me. But now im wondering if that is safe.. hmm.
