I delivered a bunch of bolts to a plant today and while I was there. I noticed a big bin full of discarded metal, Well I asked the old boy there if he would mind of I took a couple pcs. sure he said. Anyway I got this bolt and some other pcs, and was wondering what to make outta this bolt and thought I would pose the question on here. " What would you make with this Bolt"
Also what do the numbers mean on the bolt head.. -

I live out in the woods and have neighbor's on both sides of me. And I would imagine the one neighbor is mad at me for waking her up for the last ten weekends. But I drive trucks and only have one day a week to do my thing, I will normaly wait till eight or eight thirty then start. When I go out after I'm working for a few minute's I hear her dog barking . so I know I woke her and she's let the dog out.. She called in on me one time over my dog's instead of calling me and telling me there was a problem. She didn't know that we had a good friend that worked at the dog pound. and got the call from them right after she called.

Hello, As some of you know, I'm a OTR Truck driver and I get around. And I would love to meet others that like to pound metal.. I don't want nothing from you. Just wanta meet and shake hands and maybe sit down and have a cup of coffee and shoot the bull.
If you want to meet, Send me a pm with your phone number and town where you live and I'll give you a shout when I'm in the area.
Recently I had the honor to meet Art "Finnr" up there in WI, And we sit down and had a good time..Glenn made this possible, It was pretty wild the way it all worked out,, I was on the road and I found out that I was going to be goiing right by Arts house so I called the house and got the wife to get on I Forge Iron and see if Art was in the Chat Room, He wasn't But Glenn was.. He made the calls and the rest is history... Thanks Glenn -

WELCOME, to the site. I would post a wanted add on the tailgate section of the forum, plus get out and hit some of the junk store's. .. also you might want to check on Blacksmith groups. I think there's a Blacksmith Group down there in Memphis, Some of those guy's might be able to steer you in the right direction, plus its good to join a group for the learning and to meet other's

the drum will just sit in there, I want to get a regular fire pan in the future with the clinker BUSTER built in,, But it'll have to wait, Money is real tight.

This was sure enough a learning experience for me , I've had a ark welder and mig welder for years and never took the time to learn to use them, The welding on the hood is terrible, But it'll work.
I also learned to ware a long sleeve shirt while welding, My Arm got burnt pretty bad.. lol
I still have to finish the table and hook up the air and weld a rail so I'll have a place to put the tongs. and then I'' attempt to build a anvil stand..
Thanks Eric for sharing your Hood and set up with us. You gave me the " I can do it" Attitude.
