  3. Awesome! I've been to many oyster roasts while living in South Carolina..I still have my oyster shucker..they are kinda like a pocket knife that you treasure and keep..good memories shucking oysters with friends on a cold fall day. I doubt they would sell here in Western Colorado..haha. Erik Cornelison
  4. I lived in Charleston...some Navy time and then college. There are lots of wonderful gates, rails..etc all over. Take your camera when in downtown Charleston so you don't miss taking a picture. Really good food also.. Erik Cornelison
  5. I took a 3 week class from Master Turley last year...excellent class, I filled up two notebook with notes. Three of the four of us were pilots too! Daniel, Master Turley's striker, is excellent too...I really enjoyed the class. I already had a degree in welding, but this was the other side of metal work..which is what I wanted. Erik
  6. I thought this was a nice blacksmith video, well made. http://www.wimp.com/axemaking/ Erik
  7. My grandfather taught me. He used to build Liberty ships during WWII and was a boiler maker for the Rock Island Railroad. After the war he started a welding shop. I also went to college and got an A.S. in welding after my Navy submarine days. Erik.
