Frosty Posted October 28, 2015 Ayup, that's a fine anvil stand. If it's a little tippy, remove the anvil, flip it over and nail a piece of ply wood to the bottom. It'll steady it up and you won't trip over the edges of a wide base.Well done.Frosty The Lucky. Quote Link to comment
Zyphiza Posted October 28, 2015 Thank you frosty the one I had before was kinda thrown together to just get the job done, but I was making a cupping tool and using a sledge to do so needless to say didn't hold up very long.. and it's not to bad it sits alright I buried it to try to prevent wobbles but should it happen I'll do just that Quote Link to comment
ThomasPowers Posted October 28, 2015 Stands usually have less flex to them if you orient the boards vertically; they can then be glued or bolted together too. Quote Link to comment
Zyphiza Posted October 28, 2015 Thank you for the tip I'll do that with the next one if I need it Quote Link to comment
