BM454
Nice knife. What's it made of?
Ecart
Let's see if my eye is right: cable, walnut handle slabs and brass pins?
Robakyo
Cable folded at least once? Maybe? I like this Knife. How would you categorize this? Drop point hunter? Great finish too! Robert
Loneforge
It is Cable folded twice with what I think is Black Walnut and Brass pins!......I'm not really sure how to categorize my blades....I just make them....Hehe Drop Point Hunter.....Maybe a little small for a hunter. How about a drop point EDC knife. (every day carry) Or a Loneforge Belt Knife!
Robakyo
Jackson Pollock-ish pattern, and extremely cool! Almost like liquid smoke. Drop point EDC sounds good. I'm still trying to may sense of all the styles. Robert
Ecart
I've worked with quite a bit of walnut on my handles. I got a good bit of it for free. If that's not walnut I'd be surprised. I like the shape of the blade! Really good job.
Loneforge
Thanks again....this knife was almost discarded...I had too many Irons in the fire and this little guy got forgotten in the etch tank. It was a pretty sad sight after 7 hours in 3:1 Ferric Chloride mix. I was gonna toss it for scrap, but my buddy Tim says .....No you can save it, it'll just be smaller that's all! I'm glad I listened to Tim on this one. Walnut seems the common answer so far!
Kwisatz
Where do you scrounge cable from? I need to find some.

TheoRockNazz
Haha, just be careful with cable; some are covered in toxic materials, and others may have fiber or plastic cores that can get smokey and cause the welds to fail. I rather like that fingerold with ricasso, a nice flow.
Loneforge
Thanks for the heads up Theo. This cable came from a known source. I disassemble the cable to clean the grease out so I'd find the nasties if they were hiding in there! B)
