Iron Falcon 72
Here's a couple of photos of a dredge tooth that I figured would make a nice hardy cut-off. Regrind the top to get one flat side, one beveled and a square edge instead of the worn rounded tip. Weld a bar across the base with a hardy mount welded to it. It should be fairly hard steel although it may react adversely to heat. It's about 7" tall. What do y'all think?
Frosty
Bucket teeth are typically high manganese impact resistant so don't preheat it to weld. Maybe see if the welding store near you will sell you a few sticks of high manganese rod though 7018 should be okay. Otherwise it should work just fine.
