myloh67 Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Hello all, I would like to introduce myself and my wife, we are both self employed blacksmiths www.calnan.anhoj.dk who consider ourselves lucky to have realized the craft. Great to have community.. Quote

Frosty Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Welcome aboard Michael, glad to have you. I like your fire sets and the crane really strikes me well, almost enough to wish I had a fireplace to make one for. If you'll click "User CP" at the top of the page and edit your profile to show your location it'll help us keep straight where you are. myloh67 Posted February 6, 2009 Author Posted February 6, 2009 Thanks chaps for the kind comments. The fire crane was a replica from a piece that is wall mounted in the Victoria an Albert museum. The base of it was about 2 meters from the floor and the security guard wouldnt allow me his stool to stand on and take measurements from, hence lots of leaping around and eyeing up with the brass rule, hoped for the best.
