tech413 Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 It happened, finally! :DThis weekend I took a trip up to a smithing coarse with David Robertson, in Cargill, Ontario. The coarse was awesome and I learned a ton. I can't wait to go back and take an intermediate coarse. Now I just have to get my gas forge built so I can work inside. I'll post pictures later! Quote
divermike Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 congrats, I took my first course with him about 3 years ago, he is a good guy, and I learned a lot. His videos are pretty good as well. Quote
tech413 Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Here's some pics of the stuff I made at the coarse, I learned a ton!! The first is a coal rake with a reverse with a reverse twist. And the second is just a leaf hook. They're simple, but I'm happy with it! Quote
larrynjr Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 good looking stuff, courses are great and I wish I could do one every month but time and money don't allow. Courses are a great way to ramp up your skills quickly. Get your gasser built and start hammering! Quote
