irnsrgn Posted January 12, 2009 Share Posted January 12, 2009 Just go to a tractor supply or farm supply place and get a prince tie rod cylinder, remove the bolts, and cut it to length in a bandsaw, chamfer the cut edges, use shorter bolts and cut the ram to length. If you need it a certain length do like irnsrgn says shorten longer cylinder. Question what are you using cylinder for? If you are building a hydraulic press.
