December 13, 200817 yr Im thinking about making a forge for metal work. Would A forge made from bricks and cement work. And if so then are there some sort of special bricks or cement.
December 13, 200817 yr you would most likley need fire bricks and i would not recommend concrete...sometimes it will explode if heated...... you can try brake drum forge also....no concrete or bricks needed
December 13, 200817 yr What sort of work are you planning -- belt buckles or anchors or somewhere in between?
December 13, 200817 yr If you are just going to have a go then the brake drum forge would be a great starter. It can use either coal or charcoal. Cheers
