brucegodlesky
I have a request from a customer for one. Anybody ever try and build one? He says it won't have anything larger than a tack hammer used on it. How abour RC?? I thinkl it can be shaped on the hammer then filed/ ground to finish. Jmercier
a stiddy should be pretty precise from my understanding, and most people i know that DO make them use a CNC and mill to produce them. If you go to the bladeforums.com and the knifemakers area i believe that greatlakeswaterjet makes them. It really depends exactly what the person who's asking is looking for. tophand
Hello, Greatlakeswaterjet Co. made several last year over on Bladeforums. I believe he used S7. There is quite a bit of time rapped up in these. Price was around $350. David is really good to talk with. I missed one on an auction site by $3.00. It went for $78.00. What a deal! Hrer is his site: Great Lakes Waterjet, Inc. Matt
brucegodlesky
I'm thinking I'll use some mine rail. I have several small anvils made from it and they do the job.
