Ok well its time to make some hand forged hardware for the bedroom....does anyone hav any ideas or plans for some dresser pulls..... i have few ideasthat im going to try tomorrow...if all goes well maby i will make a BP

I attended a demo yesterday where the smith (Steve Josalyn, New York) developed a decorative piece by using 1-1/4 by 1/4" stock, cut it into 1-1/4" squares, cut deep grooves in the back side from point to point crisscross, then make a pyramid punch, drive it into the center of the grooves, backed up by a swage block, or stump or whatever, when force is applied, the point sinks in as the grooves collapse on themselves, and you get a cool little pyramid shaped door pull. This would then need to have the threaded section welded on and whaaalaaa, you have a very cool decorative element. I forgot to take my camera, so no pics, sorry.
