Hello. I was looking for some other smiths in the south wake area. I have been smithing for about a year and i have found some other smiths but i would like to expand on the basis of people i have to gain knowlage from. I am good freinds with Solvarr and have worked in his shop on a number of ocassions and he has taught me a bunch. THe more teachers I have the better i will be off. I also know about the NC chapter of ABANA but it doesn't really fit my schedule. IF any other smiths are out there let me know i would love to learn what you have to teach and i am always willing to help around the shop, or cut your grass, or do other chores in return for forge time and lessons.

where are you in fuquay? I live over by the intersection of 55/401 on the east side of town.
I don't have much of a shop and my bangin time is sproadic and limited, but I travel when needed

I live over by the high school and my shop is also a little limited but i would alway like to hammer with another smith. Tell me if you ever want to hammer

I am in East Fayetteville, right off of Hwy 95. Let me know if you ever make it this way.
I mostly bladesmith but also do alittle bit of everything.

This is not in North Carolina but my hammer -in is this saturday and the williamsburg smiths will be the featured demonstrators .
Solvarr and Drogo frequently attend our events and I believe that Drogo has sent in his RSVP for the event saturday.
There is no charge other than 5.00 if you want to eat some of famous brunswick stew.
You are welcome to come if you would like and see some of the best traditional smiths in the country demonstrate / tell stories / answer questions etc. all without being in the presence of the tourist that are normally found at colonial williamsburg .
