Rynoz123
I’ve been searching for a couple days to find this anvils date and can’t track it down. it’s a 95lb and the serial stamp is either a117370 or aii7370
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Welcome from the Ozark mountains. I think #A117370 was made in 1919 the range is 117001-176000, someone with a copy of AIA will either confirm that or tell me my memory is kaput. Nothing is impossible to find if you know where to look.
ThomasPowers
On page 361 of Richard Postman's "Anvils in America" it has a listing of Trenton serial numbers and years: 114001-122000 were made in 1913. Richard Postman's book is where most of the information on anvil dates is currently found; if you didn't search there; you are unlikely to find it!
