JHCC
The Society of Inclusive Blacksmiths has a mini-grant program for anyone who needs an extra $50 as a boost to their blacksmithing. If you want to invest in a decent pair of tongs, a secondhand angle grinder, some kastolite for your first gas forge, a weekend class, or whatever, check it out. The next drawing is on April 17, 2022 (I'm posting this on March 16, 2022), but they do run these on a fairly regular basis. You can find more information by googling "inclusive blacksmiths" and "mini grant". (NB: They also accept donations, so if you want to support this program or any of the other SIBs efforts, you can do that through their website as well.) Frosty
You need to write the name out the abbreviation SIB hits dozens of sites. $50 for lunches or beverages might let you entice fresh minions to lend a hand with heavy stuff. I'll check into SIB. Thanks John. Frosty The Lucky.
