quinq
Just wondering if anyone has a parts break down (diagram) for a Buffalo 200 blower? I’ve found remnants of fiber washers in the gear case. I’d like to know what locations they were used in . Thanks for your time Edited February 16, 2022 by Mod30 Remove bold type. Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
There is a thread about that, I think TWISTEDWILLOW posted it. I'll do a search like the Read This First thread suggests to see if I can find it for ya. Right off hand I couldn't find that one but this may help you. The one I'm thinking of he used split washers or something similar to replace the fiber ones. https://www.iforgeiron.com/topic/51747-buffalo-forge-300-blower-repair-help-with-fan-shaft-spacers/
TWISTEDWILLOW
I ran into that issue on one of my Buffalo blowers, I left everything intact on that blower and used an E-clip in its place, it was a lot easier an faster than tearing everything down and risking making a small issue worse, I only tear down blowers if it’s a last resort, if you don’t have experience dealing with old gear boxes I’d say don’t, so far I’ve probably put close to a 100 hrs on that particular blower an have had no issues, I just make sure it’s well lubricated at all time, if you could post pictures of your gear box and the guts It would help, an give us a better idea on what your dealing with, you might be able to fix your issue with a pair of needle nose pliers and a .25 cent e-clip but there’s no guarantee
