Bantou
I appreciate it Frosty. I just ordered a Mr. Volcano single burner for now. If I need to do something that the volcano can’t handle, I’ll put it in the coal.
Frosty
You can sift through the coal, pick out the rocks and wash out the dirt. You can separate coal from sand and such by doing a "hydrometer" type method put it in a tallish container of water and stir it vigorously. When it settles the sand will be on the bottom and the silty soil will stay suspended a long time or form a mud mat on the coal. The coal might even float, then it'd be really easy to separate. Water won't hurt the coal. Frosty The Lucky.
Bantou
I could do that but it would eat up my already limited time. I’m going to keep the coal forge but it will probably serve as a table for my propane forge most of the time. Assuming of course that the propane doesn’t annoy me to the point that I go back to coal.
