HWooldridge Posted August 19, 2008 Share Posted August 19, 2008 I would also try higher heat but some wrought iron is red short so it splits at most any temp. A lot of wagon rims were made from the cheaper stuff since it was considered sacrificial - sort of like a modern tire; the assumption was that it WILL wear out with enough miles.
