April 26, 20215 yr Just sitting on sand is often enough to quiet an anvil to tolerable and you can always toss more on later. Once you get the height right you might consider trimming the box some. As high as it is now it'll be hard to work fro under the horn and heal. There are times you'll have a long piece and need say a wide radius, you need the room under the horn or heel to make the bend. You may ever need the room and it's an easy fix if you do. Looking good. Enjoy the lady's talents. Frosty The Lucky.
April 26, 20215 yr Author Ya, i figured it's easier to build it taller then it would be to try to extend it later,I may end up cutting it down if it gets in the way. For now though its a nice place to keep tools
June 8, 20215 yr Author Small update on the sandbox, its holding together wonderfully though the sand has compressed and i had to add more in to re-level my anvil. But I'm very pleased with it.
