Ron Buell
Hello . I inherited an inba anvil and know nothing about it as far as to what it's worth and what the markings mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Chelonian
The photos look normal to my eyes. What makes them look altered to you?
Irondragon Forge ClayWorks
Not knowing where in the world you are located or what it weighs, it's impossible to answer the what it's worth question. Have you read this yet? READ THIS FIRST Did you do a google search?https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1&q=inba+anvil
ThomasPowers
It's a Modern Cast anvil made for the Inland Northwest Blacksmith Association; You may want to check with them what the going rate is out there. If they are not still active; try checking with the Northwest Blacksmith's Association and see if they have any information on them. If you are interested in selling you would probably get a higher price selling to someone who was involved in their making and now wanting one. Note: there are over 100 different countries that participate on this site all of which have differing market values for anvils. Not knowing where you/it is at makes asking the value useless.
