Monte Brown
Howdy, does anyone in the San Antonio area know where I can purchase coal?
ThomasPowers
What did the local ABANA affiliate suggest when you asked them? Funny their most recent newsletter has a listing for buying coal in it!
Monte Brown
Hmm...to be honest I didn't even know about them until now. I just found this forum today while looking. I'm kina offline you might say. LOL. I will definitely be contacting them now though! Thank you!!!
Glenn
Have you looked at Balcones Forge Tx? They have a meeting toward the end of the month. Looks like it is 41 min or 35 mi down I-35 S
ThomasPowers
No problem; I'm just bemused when folks ask a location specific question on a forum that has over 100 different countries participating and don't ask it to a group local to themselves. I've heard good things about Balcones Forge before and hope to sit in with them sometime when I make a business trip to Austin Glenn I think he found them from my hint/test---to see if a person will go out and dig up info or wants to be spoon fed it. Guess which one I tend to want to help out!
Monte Brown
Yes, than you both! I'm excited to know there is a group locally. I will be contacting them. Thanks again!
Glenn
Thanks Thomas, I just added his travel distance to my post. 35 miles is next door LOL
ThomasPowers
Out here that's in the next room! When you cross in to TX on I-10 at El Paso from NM there is a sign saying Beaumont TX 829 miles
Monte Brown
Well it looks like things will continue the same, shipping or driving long distances for now. The closest they knew of at the current was Austin, TX.
