Frosty
Nice job! On the next one leave the cut out in the corner attached on one side so you can fold it over the side. A pop rivet or dab of silver solder to join and the shovel will be significantly stronger. What do I mean making suggestions for making the next one? Just wait till your friends and family see this one, you'll have orders coming out your ears. Frosty The Lucky.
O'connell
Thanks for the compliment Frosty. I thought about the corner thing, but was trying to do this one quick. The stainless is pretty thick and strong. I used two rivets to attach the shovel to the bar. I will definitely rivet the corners on the next one. It looks much better. Frosty
I just calls em like I sees em. Strong is good and folk tend to treat fire tools rough, heck I've even been known to pry a log with the shovel. Frosty The Lucky.
