Check with a local gem and mineral society, or even a senior center. My gem and mineral society has a fabulous lapidary shop and offers silversmithing and other classes. There are many garage jewelers, and lapidary folks. I am in a rural area and met a guy just down the road from me that does it. Put the word out on Craigslist, local FB pages, or whatever you have available to you.

That's a great suggestion, seeing as none of the local schools I've checked offer anything of the sort. Will keep you lot informed.
