KYBOY
I rescued a old as of yet un-identified anvil from the scrap yard. Its well worn but very serviceable. Ive been a welder/fabricator for close to 18 years but until 5-6 years ago I didnt realize just how versatile a tool an anvil was. In the next year I plan on having a nice 300# in my shop. I know what its going to cost but I dont care.
Bentiron1946
My first anvil cost me $0.65/lb, my second was $0.75/lb and my third was$0.60/lb. All of them were bought before 1978. So what is the rate of inflation on the $/lb of anvil these days?;)

pete46
The cost of your hobby? Most people who eat deer meat are paying $100.00 a lb. gun ,ammo ,cammo, scent block, hunt'n club fee it adds up. I let little bro hunt ,I'll stick to black smith'n& for the cost of a hanger get free deer !
