Ryan Brodbeck
Can anyone help me identify this anvil? This is the only marking on it. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth buying for $
ThomasPowers
Whats the ball bearing test and ring test say? If it has no ring (meaning it's not cast steel) then I would say NO!
C-1ToolSteel
I would't travel a long distance to check that one out. I'm leaning strongly towards ASO!
Ryan Brodbeck
I ended up passing this one up and not looking at it. Found a 200+lb Wright for $250 needs a little work but has an incredible bounce back using a bearing and rung just as nicely
ThomasPowers
Henry Wright or Peter Wright? Either is a great anvil and that price would be considered a steal here in the USA.

If you go to your profile and add your location, you may be surprised how many of the gang are close to you and a lot of answers are location dependent. Good move, I would have passed on the first one too.
