I am wondering because of the texture of them if they would lend to a different looking damascus.? Has anybody tried this before? If you have what were your results ? What will be the other steel used? and how thick? Are your farrier's rasps solid steel or case hardened? Will you be hand welding or using a powerhammer or press?
