D.IVO Posted July 20, 2017 Share Posted July 20, 2017 Project made in December 2016, spring steel blade, stainless guard and butt cap is from a vice jaw. Materials for the handle are pine, leather, brass and pau santo wood. I made this way back when i didn't have a neither a proper forge, anvil or belt sander so its all shaped using files and an angle grinder. I've overheated a bit the blade and tempered it over the forge to a dark straw twice hoping it would be sufficient for it not to break, still I never tested it for strength, it's only a showpiece.
