May 28, 20179 yr Hello, I'm Argentinean, I need to identify my anvil. Yunque (Anvil) UAT 60 kG - Serial number 2326 Regards
May 29, 20179 yr Not sure about the make but it's a beautiful (I'd guess early) French pig anvil, I have Hulot harmel anvils both with the flat base and the 'pig' feet. Both excellent tools! A moderator might move this to Anvil and Swage blocks section at some point, but don't panic! Nice anvil
June 7, 20188 yr UAT anvils were made in Belgium by Usines et Aciers Allard a Turnhout. I inherited an almost pristine UAT identical to yours but weighing 90 Kg.
June 7, 20188 yr Hi Gents, I own two of them (125kg & 70kg -great stuff b.t.w.) -search on google + ifi + UAT and look at it. And wait for the reminder of 'read this first' (wich means, have a complete profile, and do your home work first = search and read previous threats before you ask questions to the 'anciences' how's answered so many times before ) However Hugo welcome to this great community B.t.w. Hi Carlo, welcome to, and dito. Cheers, Hans
Wednesday at 09:10 PM1 day This is an UAT (Usines et Acieries Allard a Turnhout) from Belgium. I have the same model but UAT 150 with very similar serial number (2316). It is the same gothic style in the bottom.
