Black Spruce Forge
Just joined the forum after reading the great advice and friendly conversation. I built a small rivet style forge on the cheap and im looking for any groups of professional/ long time smiths in the fairbanks or north pole area who gather for any kind of meetings. I've been dabbling in the craft but would enjoy learning and spending time around folks who know a few things and dont mind showing a novice. Glenn
I know of one smith in North Pole. You may want to post int he AK groups forum on this site. Several of the AK folks visit there.
Mr. B
I'm new to the craft myself, I've mostly been doing stock removal knives for the past 19 months and just recently built a gas forge with most of a coal forge sitting in pieces in the shop. I'm around though. You can also reach me at [email protected].
