SLAG
Greetings, all I.F.I. metallurgy fans. I just ran into a fascinating article which shows great promise for new semi conductors, etc. Research scientists have discovered that gallium nitride seems to have almost as much wear resistance as diamond. GaAs is already used in the art. But this discovery will widely enhance its uses. But do not take my word for it. Try this http://phys.org/news/2016-10-unexpected-hardness-gallium-nitride.html Regards to all the i.f.i. craft. SLAG.
Frosty
Wow, another cool article Dan! Humid air results in a couple orders of magnitude greater wear. Hmmm. Frosty The Lucky.
