December 9, 201510 yr So we fly for AK RR sometimes and I've seen the thread about track anvils. I may (stress MAY) be able to get some bits and cut offs. Were I to do this how many people would be interested? What is a good length?
December 9, 201510 yr Length would depend on how they use it. Many lay it down like it was made, others prefer to stand it up on end so all of the mass is under the hammer blow. I usually see them around 12"-18" depending on what weight rail it is.
