flemish Posted November 22, 2015 Share Posted November 22, 2015 The top doesn't need to be level, just the part under the anvil. I took a 4" grinder and ground my stump and just worked on the high spots that my anvil actually hit. Worked for me and my wife can't hear my peter wright from the house any more.
